WOW! Explorers Summer Programs for 1st - 3rd graders

Upcoming Session Dates: 

  • Journey Through Space
    • Tuesday, May 27th to Friday, May 30th
    • 9:00am-12:00pm
    • Cost: $150/member child ($180/non-member child)
  • Ages: Rising 1st - 3rd graders in the 2025-2026 school year

    • Monday, August 4th to Friday, August 8th
    • 9:00am-12:00pm
    • Cost: $190/member child ($220/non-member child)

    Calling all space explorers and young astronomers! During this summer program, students will explore the vastness of space. From building their own space craft, to learning about planets and what it takes to live and work in space, students will get to practice engineering skills, creative problem solving, and teamwork while learning more about the solar system and beyond. Each day will include daily hands-on exhibit time in our museum as well as time outside in our Discovery Garden.

  • Monday, August 4th - Friday, August 8th
    9:00 am-12:00 pm

    Join us at WOW! as we explore the wonders of our natural world! Students will learn about earth sciences, including botany, weather forces like sun and wind, biology, and more as they work independently and in teams to solve problems creatively. Each day will include hands-on exhibit time in the museum as well as time in our Discovery Garden.

Play Well TEKnologies Camps for ages 5-9

WOW! is happy to host our partners at Play-Well TEKnologies for three camps this Summer. Learn more about Play-Well TEKnologies here. 

Camps are for 5 - 9 year olds. Cost is $180/child

  • June 9th-13th
    9:00am-12:00pm
    Ages 5-9

    Venture into the world of Minecraft in our unique LEGO® experience. Get ready to build your base, craft your tools, use your Minecart to harvest raw resources, and battle to stop the Ender Dragon from ending the world. Come explore the endless possibilities of LEGO® with a trained Play-Well instructor.

  • July 14th-18th
    9:00 am-12:00 pm,
    Ages 5-9

    Calling all Pokémon trainers! With the Pokémon Championship approaching, join our enthusiastic Play-Well instructors as we build and catch our favorite Pokémon, rescue Pikachu from Team Rocket, take a ride on the S.S. Anne to uncover rare and mystic Pokémon, and battle to see who will hold the title of Pokémon Master. Come along on our journey to catch 'em all!!
