Upcoming Special Events

Are you ready for kindergarten? Come to WOW! for an evening of fun activities designed to get your preschooler prepared for their first day of kindergarten. We will be practicing name writing, hand washing, packing a healthy lunch, tour a real BVSD school bus, and more! Children will leave the event with new school supplies and a drawstring backpack. Snacks provided.

This event is open to kids who are entering kindergarten in the 2026-2027 school year and their families.

Tickets are only $1 per person, thanks to our Play For All Initiative.

Back by popular demand! It's the yummiest chemistry--The Science of Ice Cream! Learn about liquids and solids while making ice cream, then eat your yummy results! This class is open to ages 3 and up and their caregivers.

ALLERGY WARNING: We will be making and eating ice cream using cow milk and cream.

"Science of Ice Cream" Summer Classes are $12 per child or $10 per member child, with additional children $8. Adults are free with child registration. Pre-registration is required. Museum Admission not included with registration.
