Exploring Music is a music class aimed at children ages 3-5 and their caregivers. This class is being presented in partnership with Center for Musical Arts. Registration does not include Museum admission, but a Stay-and-Play discount is available for those who would like to use the Museum after class.
Early childhood is a prime time to introduce children to music. Song, movement, and musical play boost early brain development and give young ones a strong foundation of connection and joy through music. Using principles of early childhood music education developed by John Feierabend and Edwin Gordon, instructor Becca Kronyak uses imagination, dance, and play to help children discover music in a way that is completely natural to them.
While Exploring Music classes are based on a trusted early childhood music foundation, classes also flex and change depending on kids’ energy levels and interests. Parents and caregivers actively participate with their children. For more information about Center for Musical Arts, see: https://centerformusicalarts.org/classes-ensembles/
