These terms cover your use of wowchildrensmuseum.org. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use the site.

Who we are

WOW! Children's Museum is a nonprofit children's museum at 110 N. Harrison Ave, Lafayette, Colorado 80026. You can reach us at 303-604-2424 or info@wowchildrensmuseum.org.

Using this site

You're welcome to browse, read, print pages for your own use, and share links anywhere you like.

Please don't:

• Copy our photographs, text, or graphics for commercial use without asking us first.
• Scrape, harvest, or bulk-download the site.
• Try to break into any part of it, or interfere with how it runs for other people.
• Submit anything through our forms that is false, abusive, or someone else's to give

Our content

The text, photographs, video, graphics, and the WOW! Children's Museum name and logo belong to us or to the people who licensed them to us. Nothing here transfers ownership to you.

Teachers, homeschool groups and other nonprofits are welcome to use our material for genuinely educational, non-commercial purposes with credit. If you're not sure whether what you have in mind counts, email info@wowchildrensmuseum.org and just ask. The answer is usually yes.

Photographs of visitors

Guests at the Museum may be photographed or recorded by staff for marketing and educational purposes, as described on our Photography Notice page and posted at the Museum. You can opt out by telling front desk staff when you arrive.

If a photograph of you or your child appears on this site and you want it removed, email info@wowchildrensmuseum.org or call 303-604-2424. We'll take it down, and you don't have to give a reason. Our Privacy Policy has the detail.

#PlayAtWOW and content you share

We invite guests to tag posts with #PlayAtWOW, and we sometimes feature those posts on our display screens at the Museum and on this website.

If you do tag a post with #PlayAtWOW, please make sure it's yours to share and that anyone recognizable in it is happy for it to be public.

Programs, tickets, memberships and donations

Program registration, event tickets, memberships and online donations are handled by other companies on their own websites. When you follow one of those links, their terms and their refund rules apply, not ours. We're not responsible for their sites, their availability, or their handling of your payment.

Punch passes, memberships and admission can also be bought in person at the front desk, under the policies posted at the Museum.

Admission, program conduct, chaperone ratios and refunds are governed by the Museum's own policies. Ask at the front desk or email info@wowchildrensmuseum.org for the current versions.

Event and program information

We keep the calendar as accurate as we can, but programs change. Times shift, guests cancel, weather closes us, and occasionally we get something wrong. Nothing published here is a guarantee that a program will run as listed.

If a change matters to you, call ahead on 303-604-2424 and we'll tell you where things stand.

Links to other sites

We link to partner organizations, ticketing platforms, community calendars and social media. Those links are for your convenience. We don't control those sites, we don't endorse everything on them, and we're not responsible for what they contain or do.

Accessibility

We want this site and the Museum to work for every family. If you hit a barrier on either, email info@wowchildrensmuseum.org. We read those messages and we act on them.

Disclaimers

This site is provided as it is. We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of anything harmful, and we make no promises about the accuracy or completeness of what's on it.

Nothing on this site is professional advice — educational, developmental, medical, or otherwise. Our program descriptions and activity ideas are offered in the spirit they're written, which is to help families play and learn together, not as guidance you should rely on in place of a professional.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by Colorado law, WOW! Children's Museum and its staff, board, and volunteers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website, or from anything you couldn't do because the site was unavailable.

This section is about the website. It does not limit anything relating to your physical visit to the Museum, which is covered by the policies and any waivers you're given at the Museum itself.

Indemnification

If your use of this site in breach of these terms causes a claim against us, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of dealing with it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts in Boulder County, Colorado.

Changes

We'll update these terms from time to time and change the date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the current version.
