Some celebrations call for a little more room. A WOW! Private Party gives your family and friends exclusive use of the entire Museum, every exhibit included, with no other visitors on the floor. Same hands-on WOW! experience your child loves, minus the crowd.

Food & Decorations
Bring the cake, the food, and the decorations that make the day feel like your own. Balloons, tablecloths, and centerpieces are all welcome. We ask that you skip the alcohol, red or purple juice, confetti, piñatas, and silly string.

Good to Know
- 48 hour advance reservation required
- A non-refundable deposit confirms your reservation
- Arrive up to 15 minutes early — parties need to wrap up within 15 minutes of the scheduled end time, or the deposit is forfeited
- An adult needs to be actively supervising the children in your party at all times
- Any sibling in your group counts toward your 36-guest maximum, whether they're dropped off or staying for the party
- We accept cash, check, and all major credit cards
Looking for a more budget-friendly option?
Our regular Birthday Parties give your group a private party room and full run of the Museum floor on Saturday or Sunday afternoons, starting at $325 for up to 20 guests.
We kindly ask that visitors refrain from hosting informal birthday parties in our Snack Area or Discovery Garden. These are public spaces in the Museum and cannot be reserved for groups. If you would like to rent an activity room during a weekday, please inquire at our Front Desk for rates and availability.
