Have you noticed those x-rays on the light table next to The Little Clinic Exhibit? They show real bones, just like the ones in your skeleton. Some of the pictures show broken bones. Ouch, that hurts! You need to take care of your bones to keep that from happening to you. Always wear a helmet when riding your bike. Eat foods with calcium, like broccoli and dairy products, to make your bones stronger. Exercise is good for strong bones too, so do a happy skeleton dance!
Please visit us for Discovery Days on October 18 and 19 to learn more about keeping kids healthy. Activities and crafts are open for exploration from 10:00am-12:00pm and are included with your Museum admission.
